A New Year's  Resolution in 2024 was to paint dog portraits in an hour. That would be from initial sketch, to mixing paints, to the last brush stroke and signing my name...all in 60 minutes.

The name of this series is a twist on the name of the defunct business, One Hour Photo. But instead of obsolete  film developing, the name of this timeless dog collection is One-Hour Doggos.

What you see here are progress towards the one hour goal. Sal the Frenchie and Mimi the Pom-mix were completed in two hours each.  And Dutch the Golden took about 2.5 hours over three sessions. So I have plenty of work to do. We will continue to make progress.
